Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition version 3.01 with 550 games is now available.
This update adds 50 new games, bringing the total to 550. he new games are Aces and Kings Easy, Bell Towers, Canberra, Cardiff, Carlton Cell, Catalan, Charlotte, Dnieper, Double Bisley, Double Nestor, Double Vertical, EastCliff, Father, Fifty Bandits, Forty Eight and Cells, Forty Pirates, Fourteen Up, Fred's Three, FreeCell Twice, Friday, Gold Mine, Huge Spider One Suit, Huge Spider Two Suits, Kiev, Klondike 13, Lake Victoria, Lower 48, McCarver, Nile, Nine by Two, Nines, Osmosis Deal 3, Persian Rug, Portuguese Solitaire, Prince Albert, Quadruple Klondike Strict, Rectangular, Romanian Solitaire, Seventeens, Silver Mine, Sixteen Puzzle, Sixteens, Sleepers, Souter, Steve, Tasmanian Patience, Tens, The Bold, Triangular, and XV.
In addition to the new games, this version features a new main screen and many behind the scenes improvements for newer versions of OS X. Especially there should be major improvements in the graphics on retina screens.
Unfortunately, this new version does NOT work in the older versions 10.4 and 1.5 (Tiger and Leopard) of OS X. It requires at least version 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or newer versions such as Lion, Mountain Lion, and Mavericks.
This is a free update for all registered users - if you have the full version installed, just start the game, go to the Internet menu, select "Download Latest Version". You will then be able to download the full version.

Download the TRIAL version of Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition from https://www.goodsol.com/mac/download.html . The trial version is limited to game numbers 1 to 30 of each game, while the full version has over 2 billion game numbers for each game.
TO DOWNLOAD THE FULL VERSION
If you are a paid user with the FULL version, simply run your installed full version. Go to the Internet menu (note that the menus are located at the very top of the screen with the Apple logo on the left and the date/time on the right). Select "Download Latest Version" from the Internet menu. The new version will begin downloading.

An update to the Mac version of Pretty Good Solitaire is coming very soon! It is in final testing and will be released as soon as it is ready. This update is especially for people running Mavericks and the upcoming Yosemite versions of OS X and will greatly improve performance on Macs with retina screens. Look for it very soon!
Our High Scores site has recently updated to our new site design. The High Scores site is where you can see the scores of other players and submit your own scores. To see the High Scores for a game, go into that game and go the Internet menu or click on the Statistics button and click on the Show High Scores button. You can submit your own scores by clicking on the Submit Scores buttons (in the full version only). The High Scores site is at https://scores.goodsol.com .
