PRETTY GOOD SOLITAIRE MAC EDITION v3.1 with 575 GAMES
Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition version 3.10 with 575 games is now available.
This update adds 25 new games, bringing the total to 575. The new games are Acey and Kingsley, Anno Domini, Assembly, Box Fan, Cell 11, Crescent Fan, Double Aces and Kings, Five Stacks, Forwards, Forwards and Backwards, Free Parking, Grandmother's, Idle Aces, Lucky Thirteen, Maze, Pyramid Clear, Quadruple Russian, Racing Aces, Red Hand, Ripple Fan, Solid Square, Spaces and Aces, Speculation, Twin Queens, and Unusual.
In addition to the new games, this version has some small changes to the new main screen interface. The game search/filter box has moved from the lower left corner to the upper right corner where it will be more visible and useful. Typing a game name in this box provides a quick way to find a game.
This is a free update for all registered users - if you have the full version installed, just start the game, go to the Internet menu, select "Download Latest Version". You will then be able to download the full version.

TO DOWNLOAD THE TRIAL
Download the TRIAL version of Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition from https://www.goodsol.com/mac/download.html . The trial version is limited to game numbers 1 to 30 of each game, while the full version has over 2 billion game numbers for each game.
TO DOWNLOAD THE FULL VERSION
If you are a paid user with the FULL version, simply run your installed full version. Go to the Internet menu (note that the menus are located at the very top of the screen with the Apple logo on the left and the date/time on the right). Select "Download Latest Version" from the Internet menu. The new version will begin downloading.
If you do not have the full version already installed, you can download from the link in your receipt email (the email you received after your order with your registration code). If you don't still have this link, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to have it sent to you again.

We start our 20th anniversary year with version 15 in 2015. Pretty Good Solitaire version 15.0 for Windows is available for download from https://www.goodsol.com/download.html .
Version 15.0 adds 10 new games, for a total of 860 games. In addition, 2 card sets that were previously extra downloads are now included in the standard install: The Royal Card Set and the Science Fiction Card Set.
The new games are:
- Barcelona - a variation of Catalan, a Baker's Dozen type game.
- Double Alaska - a two deck version of Alaska, a Yukon type game.
- Klondike Twice - a two deck version of Klondike.
- Middle Gate - a game in between the games Gate and Little Gate in difficulty.
- Mutual Acquaintance - a two deck version of Acquaintance with Ace foundations and King foundations.

Version 15.0 is a free upgrade for users who originally ordered version 13 (ordered since April 12, 2011) or have paid for an upgrade since that time. The quick way to determine whether you need to upgrade to use version 15.0 is to look at your registration code. If your registration code starts with "43", "42", "2a", "2r", or "2g", the upgrade is free and your registration code will work in version 15. If your code worked in version 14, it will work in version 15.
If you have lost your code and need to type it in again, you can request that your registration code be sent to you again from https://www.goodsol.com/regusers.html . Note that you should only need to type in a code again when installing on a new machine or after a Windows upgrade or reinstall.

PRETTY GOOD SOLITAIRE for iPad TIPS
Here's a few tips for using Pretty Good Solitaire for iPad. Pretty Good Solitaire for iPad is available at https://www.goodsol.com/ipad . We have other smaller iPad solitaire collections there as well.
1) The game name and game number at the top center is a button. From this button, you can restart the current game, start a new game, select a game number and play that, or see your statistics.
2) Also, on game history list of your games played, if you swipe on a score, a button will appear that allows you to delete that score. And in the iPad app if you play a game number you have played before, it will replace your old score with your new score.
3) If you touch a card and hold your finger on it, the app will show you the building rules for that pile, plus how many cards are in the pile.
4) You can change players by typing a player name in the player name box on the main screen.
5) You can add a game to Favorites by touching the star next to the game name in the menu. Or, to remove a game from Favorites (a game that is starred), just touch the star again to unselect it.
