Dear Solitaire Players,

Pretty Good MahJongg has a major update! Pretty Good MahJongg version 2.0 is a huge update to our mahjongg solitaire game. Pretty Good MahJongg is a collection of 55 mahjongg solitaire and puzzle games, and 160 layouts for the classic tile matching game.

In the two years since the release of version 1, we've been collecting suggestions from players and thinking about how to improve Pretty Good MahJongg. We'd like to make Pretty Good MahJongg the premiere collection of solitaire games with mahjongg tiles in the same way that Pretty Good Solitaire is the leading game with solitaire card games.

Version 2 brings us a long way towards that goal. First, we have improved the graphics to make the tile sharper and clearer. Then we worked on making the tile matching games easier to play by adding new options. The depth shading option makes it easy to what level each tile is on. The color highlighting option highlights in color the tiles that are available to be matched, making it much easier to see the possible matches. And, of course, the tile matching games have our right click hint feature where if you right click on a tile it will highlight any matches for that tile.

Then we added over 100 new tile matching layouts to bring the total number of layouts to 160. There are even some layouts with as many as 576 tiles, instead of the previous limit of 144. And in the registered version, you can create your own tile matching layouts with the layout editor.

And then we added nearly 30 new solitaire and puzzle games. The new games include mahjongg tile classics such as Four Rivers (Shisen-Sho) and MahJongg Stones. Great Wall is a fun game where you remove matching adjacent tiles and the wall of tiles moves down. And there are lots of variations on these games that make them harder or easier. If you get stuck, remember to just right click whenever you need a hint.

You can now submit your scores to our high score web site at <http://scores.goodmj.com>. A new style of play, Climb Mode, is similar to Tours or Quests in Pretty Good Solitaire in that you can play a series of games to try to get a high score.

Great Wall
Great Wall is puzzle game where you remove adjacent like tiles and the wall falls down. In addition to Great Wall, Pretty Good MahJongg contains Hard Wall, Easy Wall, Waterfall, Cumberland, and Wall Pairs.

Four Rivers
Four Rivers is a classic MahJongg solitaire game. Remove pairs of tiles that can be connected by a line with no more than two right angle turns. In addition to Four Rivers, Pretty Good MahJongg contains Shisen-Sho, Two Rivers, Four Square, River Deep, Three Deep, and Four Deep.

MahJongg Stones
MahJongg Stones is puzzle game where you try to play all of the tiles to the layout. In addition to MahJongg Stones, Pretty Good MahJongg contains Loose Stones, Free Stones, Throwing Stones, Small Stones, and Tiny Pebbles.

Pelmanism
Pelmanism is the classic game of memory and concentration. Turn over the tiles and try to remember where the matches are! In addition to Pelmanism, Pretty Good MahJongg contains Big Pelmanism, Small Pelmanism, and Pelmanism Pairs.

Other New Games
Sea Towers, Sea Breeze, Sea Level, Sea Cell, Slide Gaps, and Compulsive Gaps are new mahjongg tile games based on solitaire card games.
