New Card Set - Wood Card Set

A new card set, the Wood Card Set, is now available. This card set
features beautiful card designs on a hard wood background. The Wood
Card Set can be downloaded from
http://www.goodsol.com/pgs/cardsets.html .

There are two versions of this card set, one for Pretty Good Solitaire
version 12 and one for older versions of Pretty Good Solitaire and
our other games. Both versions of the card set will actually work in all
versions of Pretty Good Solitaire (version 8 and above), but if you have
version 12 you should download the card set for version 12 as it contains
detailed images for all 5 card sizes. The card set download for earlier
versions is smaller as the 2 larger sizes are not included.

Yes, it's been awhile since the last newsletter. There just hasn't been
much news lately. But that's about to change - there's going to be a
whole lot of new stuff in the next few months. Therefore, for a few
weeks, the newsletter will be going out weekly to cover it all.

Coming next week - a new card set.



New Online Games

We have added a tenth and eleventh game to our online games site at
http://www.goodsol.com/online .

Scorpion, the popular Spider type game, can now be played online at
http://www.goodsol.com/online/scorpion.html .

Canfield, one of the classic solitaire games, can be played online at
http://www.goodsol.com/online/canfield.html .

Our online games are free to play in any Java-enabled browser on any
internet connected computer. The features are basic compared to our
downloadable games, but the online games give you a way to play
solitaire if you are on a computer that does not have our software
installed.

The other games on our online games site are Klondike, FreeCell, Spider,
Golf, Pyramid, Aces and Kings, Cruel, Eight Off and Yukon.

We have completely redesigned our solitaire information site,
SolitaireGames.com. It has been updated to a new look to match our
other sites. In addition, we are adding a great deal of new content.

The new Solitaire Spotlight section in SolitaireGames.com is essentially an
archive of the featured games section of this newsletter from over the
years.

It currently features rules, explanations, strategies, and tips for over 30
different solitaire games in a fashion similar to the featured game section
of this newsletter. Some of these games were featured many years ago,
so if you haven't been a subscriber for long you can go back and read
about previously featured games.
