As you may know, Microsoft has recently released a new version of Windows called
Windows 7.
Our games work with Windows 7. Unlike with Vista, the changes in Windows 7
were minor and there is no need for us to release new versions of our games for
Windows 7, the old versions work just fine.
There are, however, a few things you should know when using our games on
Windows 7.
If you are upgrading a computer from Vista or XP to Windows 7, you will need to
reinstall the games from the original setup installation files as the upgrade will
interfere with some support files.
For Pretty Good Solitaire, if you have purchased or upgraded since 2005, you can
download the latest version from http://www.goodsol.com/download.html .
Version 12.2 is optimized for Vista and 7.
If you ordered prior to 2005, you can download an older version from
http://www.goodsol.com/downloadpre.html for free or upgrade at
http://www.goodsol.com/upgrade.html for US$11.95. Because of a change
Microsoft made to help files in Vista the help files in older versions (before version
12) of Pretty Good Solitaire will not work in Vista or 7 unless you download the
WinHelp file viewer from Microsoft. The WinHelp viewer can be downloaded from
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 .
For our other games, all updates are currently still free. Pretty Good MahJongg
users can download the latest version from

http://www.moposol.com/download.html , Goodsol Solitaire 101 from

For all games, if you have purchased just enter your registration code to make it
the full version. If you have lost your code, you can request Anne to send it to you

And for Mac users - both Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition at
http://www.goodsol.com/mac and Most Popular Solitaire at
http://www.moposol.com work in the new Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The good
news for Mac users - when you upgrade on the Mac, there is no need to reinstall
the game. Mac OS X upgrades just work without the additional hassle that
Windows users have to put up with. Look for the 200 game Pretty Good Solitaire
Mac Edition version coming soon!
