WHAT'S TO COME
--
A Little Solitaire is only our first iPad game. This first version is just to get us started - to learn how to get through the app submission system and to get a basic game out to get feedback from players.
We are working on 4 more iPad apps with many more games, including Pretty Good Solitaire, which will contain all of the games currently in the Mac version. You can see the status of these other apps at http://www.goodsol.com/ipad . They are very close to done - in fact, the 2nd app, FreeCell Plus, is being prepared for submission and approval.
We had to sacrifice some features to get the apps done, but we plan to add them in updates. For example, A Little Solitaire has Climb Mode only - you start with game #1 and proceed to game #2 and so on. First on our list for the first update is getting the select game and random game features added. And there are many other features to add.
For the first version we concentrated on getting the ease of play features right, so that you can play the games much like you would in our Windows and Mac games. You can drag cards, or just tap on them to move them. If you've played our desktop games, you find this game very much like them.
--
If you buy the game, be sure to tell us what you think about it at [email protected] . We need feedback to decide what features are the most important to be added first. And don't forget to rate and review in the App Store!
If you are a FreeCell fan, be on the alert for FreeCell Plus - it will be appearing in the App Store as soon as it gets approved. It will have the same games as in the Windows and Mac versions at http://www.goodsol.com/freeplus .
And of course the crown jewel of the 5 iPad apps is Pretty Good Solitaire, which will have over 400 games in its first version. The games are done, they are awesome, and we will be getting it polished and ready. It has taken a long time to get these iPad games done, but I think when you see them you'll like them.
