DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

Q: There is a certain game number of a certain game that I cannot beat. Is this game winnable?

A: I recommend posting the game and the game number on our forum at

http://www.goodsol.net/forum . There are a lot of regular readers of that forum and someone might be able to solve that game. Also, if you are looking for some challenging games to play, you'll find some difficult game numbers on this forum.

Q: I've downloaded some card sets but I can't get them to work in the game. What do I need to do?

A: You can download card sets from http://www.goodsol.com/pgs/cardsets.html . After you download the card set, you need to run the downloaded file to install it. It needs to be installed in the same folder as the game in order for the game to see it. For Pretty Good Solitaire, this is usually the C:Program Filesgoodsol folder. If you are installing card sets for use in other games besides Pretty Good Solitaire, be sure to set the installation folder of the card sets to the same folder where the game is installed. After the card set is installed, you then should be able to see the new card set in the card set list in the Options menu in the game.

Note that you need Pretty Good Solitaire version 8 or higher to use card sets.

Q. I have lost my registration code, where can it get it?

A. Just go to http://www.goodsol.com/regusers.html to have it sent to you again.

Q. How do I enter my registration code?

A. In Windows games, just go to the ABOUT window by selecting ABOUT from the HELP menu (note, help menu not help button). In the ABOUT window, click on ENTER REGISTRATION CODE. For Mac games, they will ask for your code the first time you run the full version (except for games purchased from the Mac App Store, which have no codes).

Q. Where can I download the Cat Card Set?

A. The Cat/Dog Card Set Pack can be downloaded from http://www.goodsol.com/pgs/catcardset.html .

Both Windows and Mac versions are available there.

Q. Why do I keep seeing the same games in the trial version?

A. The trial version is limited to game numbers 1 to 30 for each game, so if you play a lot of games you will see game numbers repeated. The full version has game numbers up to over 2 billion for each game, so you are unlikely to see repeated games (at random) in a lifetime.
