FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are few new frequently asked questions about our games:

Q: I can't see all of the games (or a particular game). Has a game been removed?

A: No, most likely are you looking at one of the smaller game groups. To see all of the games, click on the "All Games" group at the top of the left column on the main screen (Windows), or scroll up to the top and select "All Games" (Mac).

Q: How do I turn off the automatic card moving in a game?

A: Go to the Options menu in a game (Preferences menu on a Mac) and uncheck "AutoPlay".

Q: Does Pretty Good Solitaire work in Windows 10?

A: Yes. The latest version 15.20 works great in Windows 10.

If you upgrade your computer to Windows 10, you may need to reinstall Pretty Good Solitaire (but this has not been necessary for everyone, it just depends on how much the upgrade changes on your particular computer).

Earlier versions back to version 11 will also work fine on Windows 10. However, in versions 6 thru 10 of Pretty Good Solitaire, the help file will not work in Windows 10 (although the game itself will). If you currently are running version 10 or below, we recommend upgrading at http://www.goodsol.com/upgrade.html if you plan on updating to Windows 10.

Q: Does Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition work on the new OS X version 10.11 El Capitan?

A: Yes, the current version 3.2 works on El Capitan. There is one known problem with the game in El Capitan, but it is in a extremely rarely used feature and only one person has even reported the problem. Nevertheless, we will be updating the Mac Edition for full El Capitan support in the near future. The Mac Edition also works in version 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or later of OS X.
