A new version of Pretty Good Solitaire for Windows is available!

Version 16.1 contains numerous bug fixes over last month's version 16.0. Most notably, it changes the card sizing selection when set to automatic card size to better choose card size. This will affect screen resolutions with 16x9 aspect ratios the most.

It also fixes a crashing problem when using the old classic main screen interface (which is largely obsolete). The game play in the new game Spidike Light is fixed to properly play by the rules. And there are many small fixes and help file corrections, incuding some adjustments to improve play on Windows tablets.

Version 16.1 contains 900 solitaire games and works on all standard versions of Windows including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, and of course, runs on the new Windows 10.

You can download Pretty Good Solitaire from http://www.goodsol.com/download.html . Or, if you have a previous version installed, you can run the game, go to the Internet menu, and select "Download Latest Version". Be sure to exit the game before you install.

UPGRADES

Version 16.1 is a free update for those who originally ordered version 14 (ordered after February 9, 2013) or those who paid for an upgrade since that time. However, it is not a free upgrade for those who originally ordered version 13 or earlier. Users of older versions can upgrade for $11.95 at http://www.goodsol.com/upgrade.html . Note that if you code worked in version 16.0, it works in 16.1.

LOST CODES

If you have lost your code and need to type it in again, you can request that your registration code be sent to you again from http://www.goodsol.com/regusers.html . Note that you should only need to type in a code again when installing on a new machine or after a Windows upgrade or reinstall.
