A new version of Pretty Good Solitaire for Windows is now available!

Here is what is new:

-- Updated Daily Quests - new challenges every day. Just click on the "Play a Quest" button on the main screen. In version 19.1, the games in each Daily Quest are no longer the same every day. They now rotate among a small number of selected games. To see the games in the Daily Quests in version 19.1, see the latest post on the Goodsol Solitaire Blog at https://blog.goodsol.com . These changes will make the Daily Quests more varied and on many days you'll make higher scores.

-- The usual bug fixes and help file corrections.

ABOUT DAILY QUESTS

There are 5 different Quests you can play each day. They are the Klondike Quest, FreeCell Quest, Spider Quest, Pyramid Quest, and Yukon Quest. Each game contains the game that gives it its name, plus some other games. The Quests are 3 to 5 rounds and are played for points.

You get bonus points for winning games, but even if you don't win, the object is to get as many points as possible. You can submit your scores to the high scores list.

Each day brings a new challenge! Play the Daily Quests by downloading version 19 and click on the "Play A Quest" button on the main screen.

You can download Pretty Good Solitaire version 19.1 from https://www.goodsol.com/download.html . Or, if you have a previous version installed, you can run the game, go to the Internet menu, and select "Download Latest Version". Be sure to exit the game before you install.

UPGRADES

If you registration code begins with "46", "48", "2d", "2a", or "2e", version 19.0 is a free update. Otherwise, it is not.

FEATURED GAME - WORLDLY

Worldly is a one deck Klondike type game. It is an easier version of Gold Rush.

In Worldly, the cards are dealt out exactly as in Klondike to the seven tableau piles. One card is dealt to the first pile, two cards to the 2nd, and so on. The top card of each pile is face up. The remainder of the cards are dealt to a stock pile.

In the seven tableau piles, build down by any suit but the same. Move groups of cards if they are in sequence down by any suit but the same. Fill spaces with Kings or a group of cards headed by a King.

The stock is turned over three cards at a time to the waste by clicking during the first deal, two cards at a time during the 2nd deal, and one card at a time during the last deal. There are just the two redeals..

The top card of the waste pile is available for play on the foundations or tableau.

The difference between Gold Rush and Worldly is that the tableau is built down by any suit but the same rather than alternate colors. This makes the game easier.

Worldly is one of the new games in version 19 of Pretty Good Solitaire for WIndows.
