FEATURED GAME - HIDDEN TREASURES
--
Hidden Treasures is a unique two deck game.
There are eight foundation piles. These are built down (rather than the usual up) regardless of suit until each pile contains 13 cards, starting with Jacks and wrapping from Ace to King down to Queens. When the first Jack is played, the top card of two face down tableau piles are turned face up. When each additional Jack is played, the next top card of a face down tableau pile is turned face up. The game is won when all cards are moved to these foundation piles.
There are twelve tableau piles below the foundations. At the start of the game four cards are dealt to each pile with the top card of each pile face down. The top card of the piles are turned face up when Jacks are played to the foundations, or when the top card of the last face up tableau is played to a foundation pile.
When tableau cards are face up the top card is available for play on the foundations. There is no building on these piles. Only one card at a time may be moved. Spaces are not filled.
There are also eight reserve piles. The top card is available for play on the foundations. There is no building on these piles. Spaces are filled automatically from the waste, or from the stock if the waste is empty. At the start of the game one card is dealt to each pile.
Finally, the remainder of the cards form a stock. The stock is turned over one card at a time to the waste pile by clicking. There are no redeals.
Hidden Treasures can be a hard game to win, you need Jacks to come out quickly to get a good start.
